Since the “Yes, but keep fixing bugs for a while” answer has the most votes so far, I’ll consider your idea. It is probably the best solution, but it also is a lot of work to maintain two different packages.

I’m with Chris van den Kieboom, so much of what MS has been releasing of late has been crap, and so many of my clients are still running pre W2K machines that it does seem useful to continue.

Maybe make 2 packages for Startupmanager? The Pre-Win2x version and the Post-Win2x version
